Since 1966 he has performed as a musician with numerous rock-groups and in 1971 began to study and perform live theatre. In 1976 he founded the Teatro alla Giustizia (TAG) which became the TAG Teatro cooperative in 1980. He was the organization's president until 1989 during which time he both acted and directed, as well as producing several Commedia dell'Arte shows. Since 1990 he has been working as a freelance actor and director in various countries and with a range of theater companies. In 1995 he founded his own production company "Produzioni Teatrali Veneziane" which continues to stage theatrical shows and special events.
