Produzioni Teatrali Veneziane is a production company that organizes and produces theatrical performances, large-scale events, street theatre, parties, conventions and film casting. Founded in 1995 with Venice as its centre of operations, it is headed by Alessandro Bressanello, a director, actor and musician who had already been involved since 1976 with various theatre troupes such as Tag Teatro and Teatro Niovo. As the artistic coordinator of Venice’s celebrated Carnival for many years, he was responsible for reviving the Volo dell’Angelo, or Flight of the Angel, and for directing other public theatrical spectacles, including the Battaglia tra Carnevale e Quaresima (Battle between Carnival and Lent), the Festa dei Pazzi (Battle of the Crazy People), the Grande Caccia ai Tori (Great Bull Hunt) and the Arrivo del Grande Rinoceronte (Arrival of the Great Rhinoceros). In addition, he has also been responsible for directing over 30 theatrical and baroque works in various countries and/or organization of other events, such as two editions of the Venetian Carnival in St. Petersburg, parties in various Venetian palaces, the festival “Venezia Suona” (Venice Resounds/Plays Music) and three editions of the Festival of Young Russian Culture. Produzioni Teatrali Veneziane provides artistic services and consultation for a wide range of events including Venetian parties, weddings, parades, festivals and conventions. ARTISTIC SERVICES providing musicians, actors, presenters, hostesses, dancers, jugglers, acrobats, puppet masters, flag-wawing performers, fortune tellers and magicians, as well as fireworks and performances. TECHNICAL SERVICES scouting locations like Venetian palaces and villas, and providing Carnival costumes, gondolas and boats, set designers, make-up artists, costume designers, security, interpreters and translators, catering, light and audio services by specialized technicians, the creation and printing of printed advertising, the organization of press conferences, the organization of transportation and the production of audio-visual advertising/documentary material. Thanks to his broad experience Alessandro Bressanello both designs and oversees the realization of creative events. |
